iP Claude Connector lets you connect your WordPress site to Claude (claude.ai). You log in with your own WordPress account, and Claude can then read and edit your site on your behalf. Every change is logged and can be undone with one click.
What Claude can do
- Read, create and edit pages, posts and other content types. If you use the block editor, the block markup is kept intact.
- Manage categories and tags, and assign them to posts.
- Read and rebuild your menus, or create a new one.
- Change the site title, tagline, homepage, posts per page and other basic settings.
- Use images that are already in your Media Library: set featured images and write alt text.
- Move a page or post to the trash (it is never deleted for good).
You stay in control
- Access level: Full, Draft first (new content is saved as a draft and only you publish it) or Read only.
- Secure login with OAuth 2.1. Only administrators can approve a connection.
- Every change is listed in Settings → Claude Connector, and you can undo it.
- You can switch the connector off, or disconnect Claude, at any time.
Good to know
- It needs PHP 8.1 or newer, WordPress 6.4 or newer, HTTPS and pretty permalinks.
- Claude cannot upload or delete files, install plugins, or change users and passwords.
- You need a Claude account that supports custom connectors.
How to install
- Download the ZIP with the button above.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file and activate it.
- Open Settings from the Plugins screen and run the connection test. Copy the connector address.
- In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the address and click Connect. Log in to WordPress and click Allow.
